NMC Guidelines After NEET 2025

The students should know that there are NMC guidelines after NEET. The government mentions the following in the Gazette of India for students wanting to study MBBS abroad:

  • MBBS program should be of 54 months with a 1-year of internship at minimum

  • The universities should consider the NEET-UG marks of the students

  • The program should consist of the 19 subjects mentioned in NMC guidelines 2021

  • The foreign university must be central government-affiliated

  • Medium of instruction should be English

  • The university should be recognised by the respective jurisdiction of the country

Important Considerations After NEET Avoiding Delays

The students should not delay beginning their studies in the foreign locations, as most of the universities offer seats on a first-come, first-served basis to the international students. The earlier the application is, the higher the chances of getting admission to the preferred university. Moreover, the delays should be avoided for the following reasons:

  • Many universities begin their intake session in September or October

  • Seats are limited in many universities with high number of applicants

  • Delay will also cause inconvenience in visa process with higher fare

Summary

After getting done with NEET 2025, the students should immediately begin to select universities and look for the ones that align with their educational aspirations, future goals, and financial situation.
